What a weekend :)

I love seeing my stepson, he is a real joy and when he and Rosie get together it's fabulous. They immediately fall into their own little world and listening to them build their little stories and games is just a joy. Needless to say, being a family of 4 feels so right too.
It's rather tiring driving up to Wakefield and back (especially for Raymond who does the majority of the driving) so it's nice to sit here in bed updating the bleugh :)

I have been making a few cards, some to sketches and some just fall out of my head onto my workdesk.
This week just gone it was sketches:
Twisted Sisters Sketch #032 was fun to play with and the sketch was stamps - easy ;)

Time to sleep, night night xXx

I love weekends

Don't get me wrong, I love my job too but the weekends are just bliss and I think I apreciate them even more since changing back to full time work. Another good reason for having a paid job (apart from the addition to the bank balance at the end of each month of course).
Quite proud to say that I have received an end of year review that indicates I'm doing all the right things so I will be working towards improving that further this year. I work at Aviva(formerly Norwich Union) which is the biggest Insurance and Pensions company in the UK.

Now back to the joyous hobby of papercrafting :) When it comes to paper I love comparing new stash when I go see my sister Soo and rummaging through what she's made and what she's bought. There are days when I could happily sit and stash rummage all day :)

I have decided that I will almost definitely be going to the Great Northern Papercrafts show at Harrogate in March and The Big Stamping and Scrapbooking Show at Ally Pally in April. That should give me a few bits and bobs to play with for a few weeks at least....

I have applied to be part of the Twisted Sketches team with the card below. And I'm halfway through a card for this weeks sketch. Also going to make a card for the Stamp With Us sketch. Busy busy but it's all fun. Have a lovely Sunday xXx
